Many people want to master the magic of card tricks and become real professionals. It is best to start learning the art of card tricks with the simplest tricks, which are nevertheless quite effective and will help develop memory, attention, reaction and the ability to distract the audience's attention. All these qualities should be possessed by any person who has decided to master the skill of showing card tricks to perfection.

The simplest tricks for developing memory and attention

The easiest trick to start with is to learn how to correctly distract the viewer's attention. To display it, no special sleight of hand is required, only a deck of cards is needed. The magician invites the viewer to choose any card from his "magic" deck and put it on top of the deck. After that, the novice illusionist, without ceasing to conduct a casual conversation with the viewer, looking directly at him, takes the deck in his hands, removes them behind his back and quickly turns the top card over. Next, the deck is drawn and on the outstretched hand the viewer is shown its bottom with the question of whether the bottom card is of the same suit. In this case, the inverted selected card looks directly at the magician. Regardless of the answer received, the deck is again moved behind the back. The selected card, which the actor has already managed to remember, is turned over to its original position. Knowing the card, the magician gives the deck to the viewer with a request to mix it as thoroughly as possible and, with a mysterious look, proceeds to search for the selected card. At this stage, in search of the desired card, you can turn on your imagination and train in the techniques of verbal impact on the viewer.

The next simple trick requires only attention from the novice illusionist, the ability to distract the audience and a little sleight of hand. When showing this trick, the illusionist guesses the top 3 cards from the three piles on which the deck is laid out. The demonstration begins with shuffling the deck, at the end of which the magician, distracting the attention of the audience, for example, with a funny anecdote, memorizes the bottom card and puts it on top with an imperceptible movement. Further, anyone interested is invited to divide the deck into 3 piles. Knowing the top card in one of the piles, the magician names the card that he remembered, but takes a card from any other pile, without showing the audience, looks at the card and puts it face down on the table. Then he calls the one he took first and takes the next top card. The last card is taken, which the magician remembered, and the card taken from the second pile is called. The cards can now be shown to the audience.

The simplest mathematical trick

Another simple trick that develops attention and mathematical thinking is the trick with guessing a card from a reduced deck of 21 cards. The cards are laid out in front of the viewer in three rows of 7 cards, after which the magician asks to guess any card and name the row in which it lies. Further, the deck is assembled in such a way that the specified row is located in the middle of the deck and is again laid out in equal rows - this time vertical, the viewer again calls the row with the intended card. The procedure for collecting and laying out in rows is performed again, the specified row should also be located in the middle of the deck, the viewer calls the row for the last time. The magician, making sure that the named row is in the middle, collects the deck for the last time and begins to lay out the cards one by one. The intended card will always be 11th from the top.

Having mastered these 3 simplest tricks and practicing to show them accurately and naturally, you can start learning more complex card tricks.
