Do you want to learn how to draw a gift? You can draw a gift box tied with a shiny beautiful bow. There are several ways of drawing that will allow you to depict your gift in three-dimensional form and filled with light. One option is to draw in the Corel DRAW editor.

Step 1
Open Corel DRAW editor and create a new document.

Select "Ellipse" from the toolbar and draw two distinct dots on the right and left at the same height

Select "Polyline" from the toolbar and draw two straight lines from them. To do this, click with the mouse on a point, thereby marking the beginning of the line, and then at the place where you plan to end the line, make a double click. The intersection of the drawn lines is the rhombus, which will be the top of the gift box.

Select "Smart Fill" from the toolbar and use it to fill your diamond with paint.
Now our task is to draw the rest of the sides of the box in a similar way. To do this, delete the construction lines, and leave the points.

Draw a vertical line from the bottom corner of the diamond with the Polyline tool. The length of the line depends on the desired box size. If you want to virtually give a box of chocolates, then the line will be short, and if a large volumetric gift is placed in the box, then the line is drawn long.

Now draw lines from our points to the bottom edge of our box. And from the left and right edges of the rhombus, lower the lines down until they intersect with the first.

Select "Smart Fill" from the toolbar and use it to fill our box with paint.

So, the gift base is ready. You can repaint it in any festive color.

Now animate your box with shadows, visually create volume for it. To create such effects, you need to create a duplicate of the layer by pressing the right mouse button on the picture, or by pressing "Ctrl + D". Paint this layer a darker tone.

Select "Transparency" from the toolbar to create transparency. Clicking in the lower right corner, move the mouse cursor to the upper left corner. We create this effect on all sides of the gift box. You have a voluminous box.

For greater effect, you can bend the corners of your box on two visible sides. Again select "Polyline" from the toolbar and draw two triangles.

Remove the black outline from the triangles and fill them with paint.

Select "Drop Shadow" from the toolbar in order to add a shadow under each triangle. From the center of the triangle, drag the cursor down and to the right, then release. On the top toolbar, you need to register the values that are responsible for the transparency and size of the shadow. Your box looks like bulging edges.

The gift box is waiting to be tied with a beautiful bow. Select "Polyline" on the toolbar and draw the future ribbon.

On the top panel, click on the button to convert a straight tape to an arcuate one, and then paint it white.

If you need your dressing tape to be not matte, but shiny, then this is done using "Interactive Fill", drag the cursor from one edge of the tape to the other.

Now tie the box criss-cross with a second ribbon.
