Drunkard is one of the simplest card games. The winnings do not depend at all on the skill of the player and the ability to make calculations. Players lay out cards blindly, and the one who collects the whole deck wins.

It is necessary

  • - a deck of 36 or 52 cards;
  • - one or more partners.

Instructions

Step 1

Draw lots and choose a deliverer. You can throw lots in any way - with the help of a rhyme, a coin tossed up, an object in your fist, etc. Place the players so that you can clearly see the direction of the clockwise hand. It is best to sit around the table. However, the table can be conditional - a rug on the beach or a napkin in a train compartment. If there are only two players, you can remove sixes from a deck of 36 cards. For a large company, a 52-card deck is more suitable.

Step 2

If you are drawn to deal the deck, shuffle the cards well, move the deck and deal all the cards to the players. The cards must be dealt clockwise, starting from the player sitting to the left of the dealer. Players must stack cards without turning over.

Step 3

Determine the seniority of the cards. It's common. The highest is ace, then king, queen, jack, ten and so on up to six or two. In some versions of the game, a deuce or six beats an ace, but in relation to the rest of the cards, they are the lowest. This point needs to be discussed in advance. There are no trump cards in this game.

Step 4

The donor starts the circle. Without looking, he takes the top card, turns it over and places it in the middle of the table. The following players do the same. The bribe is taken by the one whose card is older than the others. He must put the cards face down on the bottom of his pile without shuffling.

Step 5

It may turn out that two or even three cards of the same denomination turn out to be tricked. In this case, players with the same cards are given the right to lay out one more card. The bribe is taken by the one whose second card is higher. This is considered a lot of luck, because the winner's pile of this round is increased by one more card.

Step 6

It may also happen that the cards of the same rank will be the last of the players. In this case, the bribe is taken by the one who put his card earlier, that is, the player sitting closer to the donor, if viewed clockwise.

Step 7

The game continues until one of the players runs out of cards. This participant is eliminated, the rest go to the next round. It starts with the player sitting on the left hand of the first round picker. The second round is no different from the first, except for the number of players. There are options when no additional actions are taken after one participant leaves the game, the circle simply continues on. The game continues until one of the participants has collected all the cards. After that, the "drunkard" can be started again, returning all players to the circle.
