Ordinary ribbons of different shades from silk, satin and nylon, in skillful hands, can turn into real masterpieces in the form of floral decorations. Amazing "flowers", which surprise with their originality, can serve as a wonderful addition to clothes, decorative elements of crafts and premises, and even fragments of decoration of festive events. There are several ways in which you can make a flower from a ribbon.

Instructions
Step 1
Chamomile. Take a white satin ribbon 1 cm wide. Consecutively make loops of chamomile petals up to 5 cm long, securing them in the center with light stitches. Spread the resulting flower. For the core, take a narrow yellow nylon tape, gather it along one edge and wind it in a spiral, fixing it with stitches from the inside out. You will get a velvety-looking center for chamomile. If you make a flower of a different color, then it will resemble a daisy or a cosme.
Step 2
Rosette. For manufacturing, a satin ribbon with a length of a little more than a meter and a width of 2 cm is suitable. For this, all colors of roses are acceptable, that is, pink, burgundy, red, white and yellow, although you can dream up and make flowers of other shades. Fold the tape in the middle, perpendicular to the edges. Then, also from the middle, put one edge of the tape on top of the other one by one until it ends. In this case, the structure must be adhered to. After that, release it, holding only the edges of the tape and pull only on one of them, pulling it to the middle (to the place from which the work began). As a result, you will get a rose right in your hands. Prepare a thread with a needle in advance and fasten the flower petals from the inside out.
Step 3
Rose (second option). To do this, you need a satin strip 5 cm wide, the edge of which take in your left hand, and wind it in a spiral with your right hand while twisting the ribbon itself around you. This method will give beautiful rose petals that you need to immediately sew from the inside out.
Step 4
Carnation. It is very easy to make a carnation from a ribbon. Take a narrow nylon tape of red, white or pink color, gather it on a thread along the edge, twist it into a spiral, immediately fixing it on the back with stitches. You will get a carnation bud.
Step 5
Spiral flower. Cut blanks from ribbons up to 1 cm wide and 15-20 cm long, depending on the total volume of the flower. Process the edges of the ribbons to prevent them from falling off. To do this, fix the edge 2 mm between two metal surfaces and hold the flame of a match or lighter. This will give melted smooth edges. Then place the resulting blanks in a strong gelatin solution diluted in advance, hold for a few minutes and screw them onto a stick or handle. After drying, without removing, spray the resulting spirals with a strong hold hairspray. After re-drying, carefully remove the spirals, from which you can now form a flower with petals in the form of spirals. This decoration can be made in plain or colored.
