After receiving her primary education, Agatha went to enter the Theater Academy. A. Zelverovich and passed the competitive selection the first time. Later, in one of her interviews, she said that she was not completely sure of her abilities and at some point even wanted to quit her studies, change her profession and become a manager. But the first successes on the stage gradually dispelled her doubts.

In 1994, the girl graduated with honors from the Academy and was invited to the troupe of the Drama Theater in Warsaw. She has also performed on stage at the Ateneum Theater on several occasions, where she has played dozens of roles in contemporary and classical plays. For the leading role in the play "Merylin Mongol" the actress received the Warsaw Feliks Award.

Since childhood, Agatha has been friends with Katarzyna Nosovskaya, the vocalist of the famous group Hey in Poland. Together with her, she performed at concerts in Krakow, played the ukulele and performed several vocal parts.

In 2005, the girl took part in the Polish version of the popular television show "Dancing with the Stars". Her partner was Stefan Terrazzino. The couple won the competition, and Agatha became the first winner to donate her award to a charity.

Kulesha works a lot in the theater and acts in films. In 2012 she was awarded the prize of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland. A year later, for her work in cinema, the actress was awarded the Paszport Polityki award. The actress made her film debut during her student years. She played her first role in the television movie Farewell Rockefeller.

After graduating from the academy, Agatha was invited to shoot the film "The Man from …". The young performer auditioned for the lead role in a comedy drama directed by K. Sholaisky.

The plot of the film is set in Poland. The main character is director Anna. The woman was repressed during martial law and only a few years later was able to return to her homeland to make a film about the work of the underground. At the same time, Anna is trying to find out something about a young man named Marek, because of an accidental acquaintance with whom she was expelled from the country.

At the beginning of her film career, Agatha mainly starred in little-known films and TV shows that did not attract the attention of viewers and film critics.

Only in 2002 did she get the main role in the film "Moje pieczone kurczaki" directed by I. Sekezhinskaya. Agatha played a woman named Magda, who is going through a crisis in family relationships. After a successful role, the actress began to receive new offers from producers and directors. To find out the details of the death of their parents, Wanda and Anna go on a journey. On the way, they encounter circumstances that question their faith. After that, only one of them manages to live on as before.

The film won Oscars and awards from the British Academy, European Film Academy and Goya for Best Foreign Film. Kulesha was nominated for the European Academy Award for Best Actress.

Personal life

Agatha married Polish actor Marcin Figurski. They met on the set of the television project "Nanny".

The family currently lives in Warsaw. They have a daughter named Marianne.
