Brief biography of the actor
Alexey was born in Moscow on July 3, 1964 in an intelligent metropolitan family (father is an engineer, mother is a doctor in Gorky's studio). The boy grew up in full prosperity and perfectly combined education in general education and music schools. An accidental hit in the photo with his music school teacher played a fatal role in the fate of Alexei. The fact is that the directors of "Mosfilm" caught the eye of this photograph, which became his ticket to the world of cinema.
With the film "Father and Son" Alexei marked his debut in the cinema, and then there was the film "Eternal Call", which he got into because of his resemblance to Vadim Spiridonov. By the end of his secondary education, Serebryakov already had six main roles in various films.
Since in the capital it was not possible to enter a theater university after graduating from school, and the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, where he nevertheless passed the exams, disappointed him, the young man decided to implement his theatrical passion in the provinces. The choice fell on the Syzran Drama Theater, where our hero successfully worked for one season.
In 1982 he entered the "Sliver", and two years later he moved to GITIS. After completing his theatrical education, Alexey joined the troupe in the studio of Oleg Tabakov. And since 1991, the Taganka stage has become his creative home. From that moment on, his career as a film actor began to grow successfully.
In 1998, Serebryakov received the title of Honored Artist of Russia. This was followed by a resounding success from the film work in the "Banditsky Petersburg" and the undoubted recognition of the public.
After another creative breakthrough in the 2000s (9th Company, Destructive Force and Code of the Apocalypse), he became the bearer of the title of People's Artist of Russia.
