Miniature decorative roses, which are grown as a pot culture, most often come to indoor florists in small pots filled with a breathable substrate of a rather coarse structure. In order for the plant not to lose its decorative appearance, it should be transplanted.

Instructions
Step 1
Indoor roses can be transplanted from spring to autumn, although spring and the very beginning of summer are considered the most suitable period. Most often, these plants are advised not to transplant, but to transfer to a new pot without breaking an earthen lump, since roses do not tolerate root damage well. If the plant is in bloom, it is best to wait until the bloom ends.
Step 2
Find a rose pot three to four centimeters wider than the previous one. Soak a new unglazed clay pot in warm water for two hours. If something has grown in the container intended for replanting the rose, wash the pot with a stiff brush.
Step 3
Place a 1-inch layer of drainage on the bottom of the pot. In this capacity, expanded clay is good for a rose. Water the plant abundantly with settled water. The water temperature should be close to room temperature. When the liquid is completely absorbed into the ground, turn the container with the flower over, holding the plant with your hand, and remove the rose from the old pot.
Step 4
Place a 1-centimeter or one-and-a-half centimeter thick layer of potting soil in a new pot over the drainage. For a room rose, a substrate prepared from four parts of turf, the same amount of humus earth and one part of sand is suitable. Place the plant in a new pot and cover the space between the clod and the sides of the container with soil. Compact the filled up soil.
Step 5
Spray the transplanted rose with water and place in a shaded area. After a day, you can rearrange the flower on a lighted window facing south or southeast. If you have taken the plant outdoors, it is worth digging the pot into the ground to avoid overheating. A few days after the transfer, the soil may settle. If this happens, add some soil so that its level is two to three centimeters below the edge of the pot.
Step 6
A month after transplanting, the plant can be fed with a solution of complex fertilizer. This should be done once every two weeks after evening watering.
