Fans of tactical paintball markers now have complete freedom to choose different models of markers and additions to them in the form of scopes, butts and other "bells and whistles". However, the imagination of most paintball players is more developed than the imagination of paintball equipment developers. Therefore, sometimes players have to make "attachments" for their weapons manually.

Let's consider how you can make a stock for a marker that looks like a sniper rifle stock or "screw cutter".

It is necessary

  • - plywood 7-8 mm, 9 mm
  • - universal epoxy adhesive
  • - semicircular file
  • - clamps
  • - sandpaper
  • - holder for emery
  • - stain
  • - varnish
  • - chisel
  • - jigsaw
  • - printed stock template
  • - drill
  • - rollers, brushes and ruler

Instructions

Step 1

We look for the template of the desired stock on the Internet and print it out. We clamp two 7-8 mm plywood blanks using clamps. These blanks will be the outer layers of our butt. Next, draw a circle around the stencil and cut it out. Now you need to drill and cut out the insides.

Step 2

We cut out the inner part in the same way. For external workpieces, you also need to cut out the partition between the holes.

Step 3

We fasten the workpieces together with epoxy glue. Pressing with clamps. So that there is less hassle with gluing and so that the workpieces do not slide out, it is better to glue them not at once, but gradually, making a daily interval.

Step 4

The workpieces are glued together. Now we take a semicircular file and bring the stock blank to the "marketable" look, removing all irregularities and burrs. Then you need to sand the surface of the butt with sandpaper. First, we take a large one, gradually reducing the graininess.

Step 5

We will process the finished stock with a stain, then we will cover it with varnish.
