It is necessary

  • - icing sugar;
  • - condensed milk;
  • - powdered milk;
  • - food colorings;
  • - cling film.

Instructions

Step 1

Prepare milk paste. In a wide bowl, mix the same amount of icing sugar and milk powder, then pour in the condensed milk. Observe the proportions 1: 1: 1. Knead the mixture until it resembles smooth, soft plasticine.

Step 2

Divide the mastic into several parts and paint each one in the color you want with food coloring. Dip a wooden toothpick in dry food coloring, then poke it through the plastic dough. Repeat the operation several times. Knead the lump well each time so that the dye is evenly distributed until you achieve the desired color intensity.

Step 3

Wrap a smooth cutting board with cling film. Pinching off small balls from a lump of mastic, flatten them between your fingers and spread them on polyethylene at a distance from each other. Cover everything on top with a piece of cling film.

Step 4

Pull the cakes through the plastic with your fingers, shaping them into a rose petal shape. Run especially hard around the edges of the plastic to make them thin and wavy.

Step 5

Form a drop from a piece of mastic, which will be the basis for the rose. Attach the first petal to it, as if wrapping it around the base. Do the same with the second and third petals. Form a bud of the splendor you need, cut off the excess from the bottom of the flower with a sharp knife and place it on a hard surface. Leave to air dry overnight at room temperature.

Step 6

Place the flowers in a container and close the lid. You can store the mastic at room temperature for several weeks. Decorate the cake with flowers just before serving. Otherwise, the roses can absorb moisture from the environment and fall off.
