It so happens that your favorite trousers that fit perfectly by the beginning of the next season no longer please you. The reason is that you have put on a lot of weight. And invisible in other clothes "folds" begin to remind of themselves, hanging over the belt. And with the hips in general, the trouble: they just do not fit into your favorite trousers. Pants come apart at the seams, and with them - dreams of the impression you wanted to make. There is no time to lose weight. What to do?

Instructions

Step 1

If the weight gain is insignificant, and the product has large allowances for seams and darts, then everything is simple. Unfasten the belt, open the side seams. Sew on darts and seams, letting go to size. On the belt, you can rearrange the button, loop, hook.

Step 2

But more often it happens that you cannot do without radical methods. In the belt, you can expand the trousers by inserting pieces of the same fabric (if you're lucky) or similar. In the latter case, you will have to beat the color mismatch with other inserts, for example, for pockets. There are two ways here: - Sew on the fabric from the eyelet side. Cut the loop, put on the belt, make a new loop, overcast; - unbind the belt, place the back seam, sew again. If you did not succeed in completing the work unnoticed, this place can be hidden with a belt.

Step 3

There are various ways to expand the pants at the hips too. You can insert wedges from the same fabric, spreading the side seams along the thigh by a few centimeters. It may be necessary to insert the full length of the trousers.

Step 4

For summer trousers, a lace insert is suitable. Unpick the trousers along the side seam, sew a strip of lace from the inside out, sew a bias tape along the waist. The belt will have to be redone.

Step 5

Expand the jeans with tape. Open the side seams. Fold several (the number is determined by the width of the insert) ribbons in a criss-cross in the middle, sew the braid in the lower and upper parts of the "cross", making wide stripes. Stitch the tape across the full width. Do not forget to attach the tape to the pockets.

Step 6

Dressy trousers for the weekend can be worn with a matching satin ribbon. The appeared "stripes" will give your trousers style and will visually slim.
