Diamond embroidery has appeared quite recently, but has already won the hearts of needlewomen. Only those who are assiduous, attentive and patient can master this technique and create flawless pictures.
Embroidery, of course, is associated with threads and a needle, but in this case these attributes are not required. The principle is more like folding a mosaic, its elements are attached to a special sticky base.
For diamond embroidery, manufacturers offer many sets of different sizes. Each needlewoman will be able to find a picture to her taste. The kit contains everything you need to get started.
The main element is a pattern for embroidery. This is a special sheet with a pattern, color outlines and codes. Before starting work, you need to peel off the top layer so that the base becomes sticky and rhinestones are tightly attached to it.
You will also need rhinestones - these are small square stones (approximately 2x2 mm). Thanks to a special diamond-like cut, they shine and make the paintings unique.
The set for diamond embroidery includes tweezers, scissors, a frame, a metal ruler to line the rows of rhinestones, and a fixer.
Before embroidering, you need to properly organize your workplace. There should be nothing superfluous on the table, you need bright lighting, since you will have to work with small details. When everything is ready, we unfold the diagram and put something heavy on its corners so that the material does not fold. Then peel off the top layer. If the work is planned to be completed in a few days, you can completely peel it off, and if it takes more time, then it is better to remove it in parts.
It is better to glue the mosaic in rows from left to right, it is important to ensure that there are no gaps between the rhinestones. Do not immediately press hard on the tweezers in order to fix the diamonds as best as possible. This will allow you to trim the rows and correct any inaccuracies if necessary. When the row is completed, it needs to be trimmed with a metal ruler.
When all the rhinestones are glued, the picture is left to dry for a day. And then with scissors cut off a part of the circuit without rhinestones. To keep the diamonds well, a fixer is applied; transparent glue or varnish can be used instead. Then it is better to glue the picture onto cardboard and put it in a frame. If the stones do not seem to shine enough, they can be wiped with a woolen material.
