Today, shop shelves are literally bursting with all sorts of soaps. Here you have a moisturizing, antibacterial, and easy-to-use liquid. But many women still want to make their own soap. What for? First, it provides a guarantee of its usefulness. Secondly, it's just nice. So, we make liquid soap at home.
It is necessary
- 70 g of alkali (NaOH);
- 230 grams of water;
- 15 grams of coconut oil;
- 30 grams of castor oil;
- 310 gr vegetable fats.
Instructions
Step 1
Combine all available ingredients (except lye) in a saucepan. Put it on fire and melt the oils and fats, stirring constantly.
Step 2
Dissolve the lye in the water and, when the oils and fats have cooled slightly, pour the lye solution into a saucepan. Stir again thoroughly.
Step 3
When drops appear on the surface, which are clearly visible for several seconds, stop stirring the mass and pour it into a glass jar. Cover the solution with a towel and leave to stand for a day.
Step 4
In order for the soap to become liquid, it must be mixed with water. Pour the resulting mixture into a large bowl and add the water there, stirring constantly. As a result, you should get about 3800 grams of soap.
Step 5
Add a few extra spoons of essential oils to taste. If you use tea tree and lavender oils, you will get an antibacterial soap.
Step 6
Pack the soap into storage containers. Your handmade soap is ready!
