It is necessary
Panama fabric, pattern paper (graph paper is better), tape measure, pins, scissors, ribbons and any jewelry you want to put on your panama. You may need the internet to find the right pattern and pattern
Instructions
Step 1
Measure the circumference of your head, add a couple of centimeters to the result, depending on the thickness of your hair, your usual hairstyle, the density of the fabric and the depth of your panama.
Step 2
Build a pattern of the future Panama on paper: first a circle, then a rectangle, which will later become a crown. The length of the rectangle is equal to the circumference of your head. You will need another circle for the fields, if you want, of course, a panama hat with beautiful wide brims. For the fields, you will need two circles, the second will go along the deferred points: the length of the fields plus the radius of the head circumference, which is calculated according to the school formula (2? R). Fasten the resulting paper parts with pins so that you get an exact copy of your future Panama. Carefully inspect the paper layout for inaccuracies and errors so as not to spoil the fabric.
Step 3
Cut out the fabric according to the resulting patterns, adding one centimeter to the seams. First you need to grind the sidewall, then sew the bottom. After that, the edges of the panama must be processed, and the most important detail is sewn to the panama - the fields and the upper part. Decorative ornaments (ribbons, embroidery, beads) will be used to decorate the panama, determining its purpose: beach or everyday.
