Magicians and illusionists have been capturing the attention of those around them for a long time with their sleight of hand and original performances, in which, thanks to their skill, amazing things happened. Anyone can learn the secrets of creating tricks - it is enough to know the principle of each of them. In this article, you will learn how to make a simple yet effective object that allows you to show tricks to others - a bag of newsprint with a secret pocket inside. You can put any flat object in this pocket in front of the audience, then unfold the bag and show it to the audience, convincing them that the object has disappeared.
Instructions
Step 1
You need two identical newspaper pages - you can take them from two identical newspaper copies. Lay one page on top of another with the same pages facing up. The long side of each sheet should be closer to you than the short one.
Step 2
Fold the bottom left corner of the double sheets up so that it aligns with the top edge of the sheet. Divide the lower right corner into three parts and draw dashed lines in the line of their separation. Bend the corner inward along the right extreme dotted line, then make a third fold - bend the figure along the middle dotted line.
Step 3
The first dotted line coincides with the very first crease from the left corner folded up. The first stage of the bag assembly is over.
Step 4
Now the time has come to add a secret known only to you. To do this, unfold the bag back into newspaper sheets and place them on the table on top of each other. Using scissors, cut out the lower left sector from the top sheet, which is separated from the rest by a fold.
Step 5
You will still need the cut out triangle, but set aside the rest of the newspaper sheet - you no longer need it. The cut-out triangle completely corresponds to the same sector on the bottom sheet of the newspaper. Place it over this sector and glue around the edges of the two long sides, leaving the short side open.
Step 6
In order for the trick to work, take an unfolded newspaper sheet and show it to the audience with the side on which the secret pocket is glued, holding it by the upper part with your right hand. Fold the sheet of newspaper into a bag along the lines already marked.
Step 7
Unfold the bag towards you with the side on which there will be a secret pocket. Open it discreetly with your right hand and put any item on the table - a card or a scarf - in your pocket. While holding the top of the secret pocket with your fingers, open the bag and show the audience an empty newspaper that you are holding with both hands.
