Felt is a very useful thing in needlework. This material holds its shape quite well, which allows you to make all kinds of baskets out of it. It is the basket that I propose to make.
It is necessary
- - hard felt;
- - hole puncher;
- - scissors;
- - decorative ribbon or rope;
- - a pair of transparent beads;
- - a sharp bar of soap.
Instructions
Step 1
So, we take felt and cut out a circle from it, the dimensions of which depend only on what dimensions of the basket you want to get in the end. In our case, its diameter is 44 centimeters. Try to do everything very carefully, as the edges should be even.
Step 2
Now, using a sharp bar of soap, draw a straight line 8 centimeters long towards the center of the circle. Then we retreat a few centimeters, after which we draw the line again. We do this until the very end of the circle. Do not forget that all lines should go towards the center, that is, the stripes will not be parallel.
Step 3
Using scissors, cut through the drawn lines. We should have an even number of "petals". Then we take a hole punch and make 2 holes with it from each edge in the resulting "petals". The size of the holes must be suitable for the decorative rope.
Step 4
Now we take a decorative rope and push it into the holes we just made. We collect her "petals" after one. We tighten our product, put beads on the ends of the rope. We decorate as desired, for example, you can make flowers from fabric or just use bows and ribbons for decoration. The felt basket is ready!
