Instructions
Step 1
Cut out the skirt by cutting out a rectangle measuring 50 * 28 cm from the fabric into a large cage and an apron (made of fabric in a small cell) - a rectangle measuring 16 * 16 cm.
For a jacket, cut out a rectangle measuring 35 * 12 cm (base) from red fabric, for a sleeve - 2 rectangles measuring 35 * 17 cm.
Make a palm pattern and cut 4 parts out of a pale pink fabric.
To make a head: cut out a face from a pale pink fabric - 2 circles with a radius of 4, 3 cm and a nose - a circle with a radius of 1, 8 cm, from white dermantine eyes - 2 circles with a radius of 0.4 cm, red drape mouth - 1 piece.
Step 2
In the upper part of the skirt detail, make a fringe 8 cm long by stretching the transverse threads and tying them into bundles of 8-10 threads. Fold the short sides of the skirt 1 cm and sew the braid. Having gathered the skirt along the top edge, fasten it to a broom.
Sew yellow lace to one side of the apron, sew the other sides with a zigzag seam. Gather the finished apron on a thick thread and put it on the skirt, wrapping it around the broom.
Step 3
Sew white lace to the main part of the sweater, connect the short sides of the sweater.
Having gathered the top and bottom of the sweater on a thread, put it on a broom, tighten the thread to the circumference of the broom handle, tie.
Stitch the sleeve details along short cuts, gather them with a thread along the long cuts, pull them together so that there are no holes. Sew the sleeves to the jacket.
Fold the parts of the palms in pairs with the front sides outward, glue with PVA glue. Sew to the bottom edge of the palm sleeves.
Step 4
Sew the details of the head, folding the right sides inward, leaving a separate section unstitched. Turn the head out, stuff it with cotton wool, sew up the hole with a blind stitch.
To make hair: cut pieces of thread 40 cm long, placing a strip of pale pink fabric under them, sew in the middle.
Put hair on your head, sew at a distance of 5 cm from the parting, lift it up, forming a "bun" and fix it.
Step 5
Sew the nose: after sewing a circle along the edge, pull it off with a thread, stuff with cotton wool, forming a ball. Sew the nose into the center of the face, glue the mouth, eyes (circles and beads).
Attach the head to the top of the jacket.
