Learn some crochet techniques to create delicate outfits with your own hands. One of the simplest elements of this type of needlework is a half-column. With it, you can tie ready-made things around the edges, connect different parts to each other and create beautiful patterns. Crocheting a half-column is a snap.
It is necessary
- Hook
- Cotton thread
Instructions
Step 1
Take the hook in your right hand and control the tension of the cotton thread with your left. For a sample, tie a small chain of air loops. Then step back two loops from the end of knitting - they will become a "step" to the next row. The loop from the hook is the leading one. It is not one of the necessary loops for lifting a half post.
Step 2
Insert the hook into the third chain stitch. Grab the working thread by dragging it over the hook. Then pull the thread through 2 loops: air and the one on the hook. You have a simple half-column.
Step 3
Tie the last half-crochet and try to make half-double crochets from the next row. To do this, make a yarn over, leave it on the hook, then insert the crochet into the third loop of the chain. Place the thread on the hook and pull it through the loop; put on the thread again. Now drag it through the two loops and the yarn over (which is on the hook). It turned out a half-column with a crochet.
Step 4
Try a simple crochet pattern. To do this, tie the chain of air loops again. Then proceed like this:
• 3 loop - single crochet
• 4 sts - half double crochet.
• 5 p. - Column with crochet.
• 6 p. - a column with two crochets.
Then knit in reverse order until you have a clove.
Step 5
Connect two knitted pieces with half-columns, and also try crocheting the edges of the sleeves, collar or scarf. This will help you become better at using the half-columns in different ways.
