It is necessary

  • - plastic bottle;
  • - ruler;
  • - marker;
  • - soldering iron;
  • - scissors;
  • - stapler;
  • - wire;
  • - lead strip;
  • - curlers.

Instructions

Step 1

Make a feeder trough out of an ordinary plastic bottle that you have left over from lemonade or mineral water. Cut off the neck and bottom of the bottle with a knife, you should end up with a cylindrical shape. Cut the bottle across and spread the resulting plastic sheet in front of you. Measure the size of the future feeder with a ruler - 6x13 cm. Mark the places for the holes with a marker, it is advisable to make them in a checkerboard pattern.

Step 2

Cut out the blank and overlap to form a cylinder. Use a stationery stapler to staple the edges. Next, use a soldering iron to make holes in the plastic workpiece (some people prefer to use a hole punch for this or drill holes with a drill to avoid severe deformation of the workpiece at the time of burning out). If you decide not to burn out, but to drill holes, then you should first place the workpiece between thick cardboard spacers.

Step 3

Bend a small plate of lead to the size of the already formed feeder, make a fastener. Use the required cylindrical frame for this. Then form a ring. Bend around the lead plate, make a twist. Put the fastening unit in the desired place, then clamp the lead plate on both sides. The resulting mounting assembly will hold securely.

Step 4

By the way, wonderful feeder troughs can be made from hair curlers. Thanks to its cylindrical shape and factory-made holes in the housing, it is possible to produce a variety of feeders in an acceptable color and size. At the same time, minimal modernization is required, since the size of the future feeder can be easily modified using wire cutters. If you decide to make a feeder feeder from this part, then you should choose curlers without intense smell and made of reliable plastic.
