Crocuses made of colored corrugated paper are very naturalistic. And it's very easy to make them!

Such crocuses from colored corrugated paper can be made very simply, you just have to practice a little. Decorate gift wrapping with crocuses or make a small decorative basket or crocus vase for interior decoration. Children can also be involved in working on paper flowers.

To make flowers, you will need corrugated paper of different colors (white, blue, pink for the petals, green for the stem and leaves, orange for the stamens), wire, glue (different ones are suitable, for example, stationery, universal "Moment" and so on), scissors …

In the process of making crocuses from paper, several stages can be distinguished:

1. Cut off 10-15 cm of wire for the stem.

2. We make petals (white, blue or bright pink) as follows - cut out rectangles from corrugated paper, about 10-12 cm long, about 1.5 cm wide, twist 360 degrees in the middle and fold in half. Thus, we add 6 petals for each flower.

3. For the stamens, cut out strips about 6-7 cm long and about 0.5 cm wide from orange paper, twist each of them, fold them in half and fasten them with a loop of wire.

4. We collect the flower, applying a little glue to each petal, after which the stem and base of the flower should be wrapped with a strip of green paper (about 1.5 cm wide, its length depends on the length of the flower stem).

5. Decorate each stem with a piece of the same green paper (it is an isosceles triangle, which is about 20 cm high, the base is 3 cm).

Helpful advice: crocus stamens can also be made of colored threads (threads for embroidery such as floss are suitable, thick sewing threads - number 10, twisted in half, iris, thin woolen threads).
