What is a pirate game without a treasure chest? A chest is required. If you don't have time to do it, you can at least draw. It will not take much time, and from the tools you only need a simple pencil. Well, paper, of course, even if it is just a piece of wallpaper.
Trapeziums or rectangles
The treasure chest can be drawn, of course, at an angle. But in this case, you will have to take into account at least the elementary laws of perspective, calculate the ratios, arrange the lines at the desired slope. This, of course, can also be done, but the easiest way to draw a chest is so that it looks like it is standing right in front of you. If you look at this object, you can see that it consists either of two rectangles, or of a rectangle and a trapezoid, regardless of whether its lid is open or closed. Draw a horizontal line close to the bottom edge of the sheet and mark the length of the chest on it. From these marks, draw two lines upward, mark the height of the bottom of the chest on them, and connect the marks together.
If the bottom of the chest is in the form of a trapezoid, start drawing from a horizontal line, mark the length of the bottom, draw the side edges at an angle and connect their ends.
Cap
At some distance from the top line, draw a straight line parallel to it - this will be the bottom of the lid of the open chest. It is bursting with gold coins and emerald beads, so they will be visible just between these lines. And then everything is quite simple. Draw a rectangle on this line to whatever height you think is acceptable.
Chests, by the way, were very different, for some the lid was made almost higher than the lower part.
Decorating the chest
The creators of the chests showed extraordinary ingenuity and vivid imagination. The chest was sturdy, beautiful and with an intricate lock. Cover the chest with wrought iron. To do this, all you need is to draw parallel lines along the edges, bottom, edges of the main part and the lid, decorating them with fancy nail heads. Moreover, the lid of the chest can be rounded, that is, it is better to make the edges not strictly vertically, but at a very small angle. Draw a padlock in the middle of the lid and bottom. The pirates, of course, locked their chests with padlocks, but that was not the safest thing to do. The mortise lock is stronger and more beautiful. The chest can be decorated with fancy patterns - floral or geometric patterns, animal silhouettes, etc.
Add beads (rows of circles), chains with links of different shapes and other decorations. Among the treasures there may be different coins, which on the horizontal plane will seem to be ovals, precious stones of all sorts and types. Diamonds, rubies and emeralds are simply drawn in the form of polyhedrons of different sizes.
