Children really enjoy looking for treasures. Many adults are also partial to treasure hunting. Such fun can greatly decorate a home holiday, especially if you spend it in the country or outdoors. But you need to properly prepare for the search for the treasure, that is, first of all, you need to safely hide the treasures.
It is necessary
- - box or chest;
- - paper;
- - pencils or markers;
- - small pieces of paper;
- - artifacts indicating the next step of the quest.
Instructions
Step 1
Use a birthday present or prizes for guests as a treasure. Wrap the gift first in an elegant package, then in several layers of paper or plastic to protect the treasure from the vagaries of the weather. Place it in a chest or box with a tight-fitting lid.
Step 2
Find a place. It should be such that it would not immediately occur to treasure hunters to look there, but so that the treasure was easy enough to find. It is definitely not worth burying the gift. This is the first thing that comes to mind for all treasure hunters. In addition, a heavy downpour may go, and your whole idea will be spoiled. If it happens in the country, limit yourself to your own plot. There is always a suitable woodpile, a place under a well log, a corner in a greenhouse or an attic. The place should be clean, but not clean enough to arouse suspicion. If you absolutely need to put things in order there, do it before you hide the treasure.
Step 3
If you have started a holiday in a meadow, you must inspect it at least a day before the celebration. Look for a suitable hollow or place under the roots. It is better to put the treasure there just before the holiday, otherwise someone else may accidentally find it. In this case, try to make the packaging as unobtrusive as possible. For example, you can put the chest in a regular plastic bag. Even if some mushroom picker finds him, he is unlikely to pay attention to it. Edible is absolutely not suitable as a "forest treasure". Stray cats and dogs will quickly handle the packaging.
Step 4
Develop a quest. You can start it where all the guests will gather at the first moment. Place an artifact in a prominent place that will grab attention and at the same time point to the next point of your quest. A sliver on an elegant dining table makes it clear that you need to go to the woodpile, and a driftwood suspended from a tree branch will tell you what to look somewhere below. Symbols can also be in the form of pictures, especially if you are dealing with small children. For adult treasure hunters, you can pick up suitable quatrains, riddles from literary works, etc.
Step 5
For the children, draw a plan of the “Monte Cristo Island” or old fortress. Mark the points on it that may contain clues. Do not indicate the place where the treasure is hidden. Icons for drawing pictures, older preschoolers and younger students will perfectly understand letters and numbers.
