Perch is a predatory and rather aggressive fish. When fishing for perch, one of the components of success is the right bait and the right bait.

To catch medium-sized perches, experienced anglers advise using small "spinners" weighing up to 6 g. The petal length of such lures reaches 5 cm. For catching larger individuals weighing more than 500 g, choose heavier lures.

When choosing a spoon, pay special attention to the color of the bait. Perch are attracted by their bright colors and shiny surface. Choose those spoons that reflect the sun's rays well, they are sure to attract the attention of hungry perches. The color of the lure can be orange, green or yellow, but experienced anglers recommend using a red lure when fishing for perch. You can also choose a spoon dyed in several colors at once. For example, you should pay attention to lures with a dark petal covered with bright red or orange specks.
Step 4
In the cold season, it is customary to use vertical spoons for perch fishing. Choose small-sized models, the length of which does not exceed 3 cm. In this case, the spoon should be heavy enough so that while fishing you can feel its movement under water with your hands. It is best to have in your arsenal several lures of different sizes for winter fishing. For example, in the middle of winter, experienced anglers recommend using narrow spoons, with minimal vertical deflection when playing.

For winter fishing, try a single or triple hook lure that can be chain-attached or soldered. You can equip the bait with an additional hook. Tie the hook to a leash about 3 cm long and fasten in such a way that there is a distance of at least 2 cm between it and the spoon.

When choosing lures for winter perch fishing, pay attention to those models, the surface of which has embossed protrusions and patterns. Under the edge of the ice, these spinners shimmer much brighter than models with a smooth surface.
Step 7
When choosing a spoon, pay attention to baits, the petal of which looks like a willow leaf. This shape retains the correct rotation even when caught in a strong stream of water. Use this lure when fishing at depth and in places with fast currents.
