Instructions
Step 1
Make sure the game you want to play with another person supports Multiplayer mode. This is done through its main menu. Connect the joysticks to the side connectors of the PlayStationPortable, note that in some cases, in order to control the gameplay in this mode, you need to install special software, for example, Dualshock or its analogs.
Step 2
Go to the "Multiplayer" game mode, then specify the number of players according to the number of joysticks. Apply the changes and start the game. Please note that this is far from the most convenient way to play a team game on the PlayStationPortable, since viewing the game on the screen in this way can significantly impair vision.
Step 3
If you want to play the game in “Multiplayer” mode on your PlayStationPortable game console, use the connection and data exchange between the owners of these consoles via a wireless connection, for example, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. In this case, an inconvenience arises with the number of game discs, since the disc with the game must necessarily be in the UMD drive of your PlayStationPortable.
Step 4
The problem is solved by means of sharing, if your model of a portable device supports this function. In this case, the required game data is sent from the main console to the others. There are many advantages of this method, including the fact that eyes get tired less with it than with joysticks. The disadvantage is that often not everyone has a PlayStationPortable game console, but in such cases there is a good alternative - a full-fledged game console with the ability to connect multiple control devices.
