It is necessary

  • - PSP console;
  • - cable for connecting the device to a computer.

Instructions

Step 1

Search the Internet and download theme files for PSP, saving them to a convenient folder on your computer. Files for changing the appearance usually have the ptf extension. If you are installing the design for a self-flashed set-top box, then you can download files in the ctf format.

Step 2

Connect your console to your computer using the supplied cable. If you are installing the ptf theme, move the downloaded files to the / PSP / THEME folder of the device. You can copy both to a USB flash drive and to the internal memory of the set-top box.

Step 3

Go to the PSP menu and go to Settings - Customize Themes. Select the theme you just installed.

Step 4

If you decide to install the cft theme, you need to use the dedicated CXMB plugin. Find it on the Internet and save it to your computer, and then move all the files to the STB's memory card. The cft file also needs to be uploaded to the root folder of the flash drive.

Step 5

Go to Recovery Menu. To do this, disconnect the console from the computer, turn it off by holding the shutdown button for about seven seconds until the power light turns off. Then turn on the device by sliding the power button up once, and then immediately hold down the R key. Hold it until a pink screen appears with the choice of the boot type. Among the options offered, click on the Recovery Menu.

Step 6

Set the value next to Plugins to enable. Exit recovery mode, go to "Settings" - "Theme settings" - "Theme". Installation completed.
