Vobla is a schooling fish of the Caspian Sea. It lives mainly in the bottom part of the reservoir, feeds on mollusks and small crustaceans. It can reach 35 cm in length and weight 800 g. For spawning, it chooses boggy meadows and shores, the depth of which does not exceed 70 cm.
Instructions
Step 1
The best time to fish for roach is April. At this time, there are so many fish that it will take almost any bait.
Step 2
It is especially effective to catch vobla on the donkey. To do this, attach a weight of at least 100 g to the end of the line, and place several hooks above. Usually they catch 3-4 hooks. Please note that the hooks must have a long forend so that the roach that swallowed it does not fall off prematurely.
Step 3
Place the first hook at a distance of 20 cm from the sinker, and the last one - no more than 1.5 m. If the vobla passes in a flock, then there is a chance to pull out a couple of fish at once.
Step 4
Use an ordinary earthworm as bait, which you can always find yourself, or purchase from the fishing shop. The vobla also bites on small pieces of shrimp and even on vegetable baits.
Step 5
Place the feeders close to the hooks and do not forget to use groundbait from crushed cake and various cereals, with the addition of small bloodworms or maggots.
Step 6
If you happen to forget the bait - do not worry, you can easily find different insects or larvae under the tree bark, this is quite enough for successful fishing.
Step 7
During spawning, fishing for roach is simplified - large schools of fish are divided into smaller groups, and the fish is easily caught with a float rod with conventional rig. You can fish a vobla both from the shore and from a boat.
Step 8
Fishing rod equipment includes: hook No. 12-13, fishing line 0, 12-0, 15 mm, a weight from 5 to 7 g and, of course, a float, selected according to the weight of the lead. Please note that the weight of the load will depend on the speed of the current, so bring along several different lead weights with you.
Step 9
The main factors influencing the course of fishing can be water temperature, wind speed and direction, transparency and water level.
