As a child, I really liked the fascinating optical toy - the kaleidoscope, which Scottish physicist David Brewster invented in 1817 in England.
You will look into the miracle tube and see extraordinary color mosaic pictures. It is worth turning a little - and new magical patterns of striking beauty.
You can also make a kaleidoscope yourself.
It is necessary
- - a tube from food cellophane (length - 23 cm and diameter - 5, 3 cm);
- - 3 transparent plastic discs cut from plastic jars;
- - filler for a kaleidoscope (beads, beads, pieces of colored foil);
- - foil attached to cardboard;
- - perforated cardboard and colored paper (for decoration);
- - black paper (to cut the outer disc);
- - glue stick;
- - scissors;
- - scotch tape;
Instructions
Step 1
First, you need to make a triangular prism from strips of foil 4, 3 cm wide and 21 cm long with the mirror side inward. Fasten the strips into an equilateral triangle (at an angle of 60 ° C) using adhesive tape.
Cut 2 discs with a diameter of 5.3 cm from transparent plastic. Leave one disk transparent, and glue white parchment paper on the other.
Step 2
Place the transparent disc on the prism inside the tube. Pour beads, beads on it.
Step 3
Close the tube with a matte disc, secure the edges with transparent tape or glue.
Turn the kaleidoscope over, close this side with a disc with an "eye" and put a black disc on top.
Decorate the kaleidoscope with colored stripes with a corrugated cardboard pattern.
