Snowboarders are divided into two categories - "goofy" with a right-side stance and "regular" - with a left-side stance. Accordingly, the fasteners for each category have a mirror-like difference. To change the position of the lead leg, you just need to remove the leg strap and reposition it to another place.
Instructions
Step 1
When adjusting the bindings, start by adjusting the bindings to fit your foot. To do this, disassemble the screw connection, place your foot in the mount and tighten the mount properly on both sides. Then mark the holes to match the size of your foot, then replace the nuts and screws. If you have a padded fit, adjust the heel support. To do this, it is necessary to remove the fastener and disassemble the screw connection.
Step 2
Fix the leg lift support in the desired position and reassemble the screw connection, tightening it to the same force. You can fine tune the lift angle by using the ratchet mechanism. To fix the leg tightly, move the lift lever alternately up and down. If it is necessary to loosen the fastening, press the small levers at the same time.
Step 3
Now you can adjust the front toe strap. Disassemble and remove the screw connection again, set the leg lift support to the desired position, put the screw connection in place and tighten it. You do the exact angle setting with a ratchet and, moving the lifting lever alternately up and down, firmly fix your leg. When loosening the fasteners, press the small levers at the same time.
Step 4
To find the right stance width, measure from mid-ankle to mid-knee. For a more accurate fit, slide the bindings over the mortgages in the front or rear of the snowboard. So, one step on the BURTON type snowboard inserts is one inch (2.54 cm).
Step 5
Now you need to fix the correct position of the boot on the board or center it. Do this by moving the fasteners "along the holes" forward or backward according to the size of the leg. To set the angles of the bindings, you need to know the peculiarities of your riding. You can do this by slightly turning loose fasteners to the sides. When there is no such need, you can set the angles +18 and +3 degrees on the front and back legs, respectively.
