Step 1
Decide on the choice of model and size of the thing you like, for the first time it is better to choose a simple silhouette of the model.
Use the correct color and quality knitting needles and yarn. In order for the product not to be tightly knitted, it is necessary to have several pairs of knitting needles, thin for knitting elastic bands, and thicker for knitting the main parts of the model.
Step 2
Place the pattern in front of you.
Study it in detail, first calculating each row of knitting.
Step 3
Calculate the exact number of stitches to start knitting the back of the desired pattern.
Start knitting with an elastic band, if there is one in the model of the product.
Step 4
Continue to knit the back, precisely adhering to all the changes, namely, adding or, conversely, decreasing the number of loops at a certain interval indicated on the pattern. Do not confuse the minus and plus signs: minus on the pattern means decreasing the loops, but, on the contrary, adding the required amount loops on the model.
Remember the number of loops that have been added or subtracted must match on both sides of the product, otherwise it will have an irregular shape.
Step 5
Tie the front part of the product and the paired parts (sleeves) of the model in the same way. Join all parts of the model together, while carefully and correctly sewing them. To make the finished product look attractive, wash it by hand in not very hot water, and spread it out, giving the correct shape to each part of the model.
