Yves Torres Gracie is a famous American dancer, actress, TV presenter and fashion model. For six years she performed in professional wrestling under the name Eve.
Biography
Eve was born in Boston in August 1984 on the 21st. Since childhood, she loved to be in the spotlight, pose for the camera and perform in front of the public. After graduating from high school, she entered the University of Southern California, where she studied entirely on a budgetary basis. In the same place, on her campus, Eve became one of seventeen co-founders of the well-known women's community Omega Phi Beta in the 90s. All the women who entered this kind of club are representatives of different cultures and peoples.
Yves invented and worked on most of all the performances of the popular dance group "Flying Girls", becoming an artist, choreographer and director of wonderful and popular shows in which elements of African dances were actively used. In 2006, Yves completed her studies with honors and was awarded a special prize.
Dance and acting career
Even at the university, the girl was busy filming various music and advertising videos. She also performed as a dancer for the National Basketball Association's Summer League. In 2005, she took part in a competition, the winners of which got a chance to get into the cheerleading group of one of the NBA clubs. Having successfully passed all the tests, Eve became one of the participants in The Southern California Summer Pro League, the support group of the Los Angeles Clippers basketball club, the next year. Eve made her first appearance on television in 2008 and after that she appeared in many shows, in several TV series and three films about wrestling, where she played herself.
Wrestling
In mid-2007, the WWE Divas Search competition began, where Eve decided to take part and win by all means. Being among the eight finalists, she got the opportunity to compete for the main prize of the competition - a one-year contract with the wrestling association and a quarter of a million dollars. The final competition took place in the fall of 2007 live. Torres won a convincing victory over strong rival Brooke Gilbertsen, becoming the owner of a large sum, the title of diva and acquiring a whole army of ardent fans.
After overcoming this peak, the girl began training at a special preparatory wrestling center in Ohio. In the winter of 2008, she is on the TV show SmackDown! Eve first tried her hand at being an interviewer. At the very beginning of 2009, Eve was attacked by Michelle McCool, one of the then most popular wrestlers, and this was the beginning of the first storyline associated with Torres. The next month, a spectacular battle took place between them. But Yves surrendered to her opponent after a convincing painful hold.
During the plot events of the show, Eve moved from ordinary wrestlers to the ranks of the leaders of the show, but continued to perform and conquer the audience with her unusual techniques. Over the next six years, she played different roles, including negative ones (she used male wrestlers to achieve goals, intrigued her rivals). And with the beginning of 2014, Torres decided to finally retire from wrestling and come to grips with training women in self-defense.
Personal life
In April 2014, the famous warrior and actress became the wife of Rener Gracie, a rather famous Brazilian, master of martial arts. The couple in love had two sons. Yves devotes herself entirely to her family and believes that the main thing in a person's life is his loved ones.
