To draw a vine, you need to learn how to correctly convey the color, determine the correct location of light and shadow on the bunches. Before you start painting, carefully examine a bunch of grapes live.

Instructions
Step 1
Take a sheet of paper, well sharpened soft pencil. See how each berry changes color depending on the incident light. Pay attention to the shadows of the overlapping grapes.
Step 2
Outline the basic proportions of the vine. Place the bunch in the center. Draw one oval-shaped grape, like an egg, with a wider bottom and a narrower top.
Step 3
On top of the berry, draw the outline of the cutting. The tip of it, draw a round shape. The number of grapes can be any. Sketch the rest of the berries. Draw some of them visible, and hide the rest one after another. The cuttings should blend into the main branch of the grapes.
Step 4
Apply the bunch shadow on the sheet. Don't forget to outline some of the shade from the cutting. Draw the berries and stalk with smooth, clear lines to prepare the drawing for hatching. Leave the shadow outline light.
Add light tones to each grape using rounded and crisscross strokes that follow the rounded shape of the berry.
Step 5
The hatching lines should completely cover the berry and fit snugly together. Make sure the transition from dark to light is very smooth.
Step 6
Add a few more hatch lines across the first layer. Add some shade to the stalk. Apply the tone where it touches the berry. Draw the closest grapes with more contrast, clearly draw their shape. Blend each berry with pieces of paper. Try not to touch the drawing with your fingers. Leave the shank rough.
