Graffiti is an artistic aspect of hip-hop culture. Writers, or graffiti artists, use the walls of houses, fences, and other architectural structures as the basis for their drawings. With all the freedom of style, this genre has its own rules and characteristics inherent in one form or another to each writer.
Instructions
Step 1
Graffiti is a young trend, the canons are just being formed in it. Most of the young people who are carried away by this style learn not from books, but along the walls, memorizing fonts, varying ideas borrowed from other artists. This method can be used to create a new font, so you can learn how to portray people. Memorize the drawing of another writer and imagine how you would change it, what would you add.
Step 2
Before drawing a person in graffiti on the wall, take markers and a sketchbook. Put all your ideas on paper. Perhaps, already in this miniature plan, you will want to change something, correct it.
Step 3
Observe the shapes and proportions of people in real life and in the images of other writers. Depict ordinary people in different poses, then gradually stylize them and completely move on to the image according to the canons of graffiti.
Step 4
For a full-fledged drawing, do not use the walls of residential buildings, architectural monuments and, in general, buildings that are someone else's private property. The ideal option is to negotiate with a friend and paint the fence of his dacha or country house.
