It is necessary
- Office paper;
- Cardboard;
- The basis for decorating (leather, fabric, paper);
- Glue;
- Threads, a needle, a stationery knife, a ruler, an awl;
- Accessories and elements for decoration;
Instructions
Step 1
First, cut your office sheets into small pieces of 3cm by 4cm. Then we bend them in half and collect them in small "notebooks" of 6 pages. It is enough to make 10-12 of such "notebooks".
Step 2
Next, we sew the resulting notebooks into one thick booklet using Coptic binding. When you have sewn the books, put some glue on the spine. This is to strengthen the binding.
Step 3
To make a cover for a book, you need to cut out 3 small rectangles from cardboard: 2 the size of a book, and 1 the size of a spine. Then we glue them onto a piece of fabric, leaving a small gap between the covers and the spine. Then you need to cut everything out of a single piece of fabric and bend the uneven edges of the cover to the inside.
Step 4
Now we glue the booklet into the cover.
At the end of the spine we make a hole with an awl and pass a ring there, on which you can hang a chain or a key ring. Everything! The keychain book is ready.
