Knitted products quite often look bad due to the incorrect completion of the last rows of knitting, or rather, the incorrect closing of the loops of the last row. The loops can be closed not only with knitting needles, but also with a sewing needle or crochet. At the same time, the knitted parts retain their shape better, and the hand-made thing turns out to be beautiful and professionally executed.

It is necessary

  • - unfinished knitted thing;
  • - hook;
  • - knitting needles;
  • - threads;
  • - scissors;
  • - iron.

Instructions

Step 1

Close the loops to complete the knit. This can be done in several ways. At the first, the loops are closed with knitting needles with which this part was knitted. To do this, simply knit the first and hem stitches together, using a knit, behind the back walls of the stitches. In this case, one of the two loops should turn out. Throw it from the right knitting needle back to the left one and knit from the back together with the next loop in a knit. Repeat this algorithm to the end of the row. When one loop remains on the needle, cut the thread at a distance of about 3-4 cm from the fabric, insert it into the loop and tighten. When closing the loops in this way, make sure that the edge of the canvas is not pulled together.

Step 2

Crochet the stitches. It is completely identical to the first one. The only difference is that the loops are knitted with front knitting using a crochet hook.

Step 3

Close the buttonhole with a needle and thread. The main difference between this method and the previous ones is that it closes along open loops. Tie an additional 3-4 rows with an auxiliary thread and steam the part well. Now the whole task is to dissolve these auxiliary rows with the utmost care. After that, take a needle with a large eye, thread the warp thread left over from knitting into it and, holding the product with the right side to you, fasten the open loops. Close the loops by alternately inserting the needle into 2 loops from the wrong side and the right side. At the same time, make sure that the edge of the product is not deformed.
