Beading is an original and interesting hobby that not only develops attention, a sense of color and creative thinking, but also helps you create unusual jewelry with your own hands. Starting with the simplest weaving methods and patterns, you can move on and improve your craft, subsequently creating sophisticated and author's products that will surprise and delight the people around you.
Instructions
Step 1
All you need to start weaving from beads is a beaded needle, strong synthetic threads, clasps for bracelets and beads, beads of different colors and sizes, and a little patience, as well as ready-made patterns according to which you can also weave different products.
Step 2
Start learning beadwork with the simplest snake pattern. Thread the needle. Put three beads on the thread, then insert the needle into the second and first beads. Then type two more beads - for convenience, number them as the fourth and fifth.
Step 3
Insert the needle into the second and fourth beads. You will see how the beaded thread begins to form into a serrated snake. String the sixth and seventh beads onto the thread and thread the needle into the fourth and sixth so that the seventh bead becomes the top of the next clove. Continue weaving according to this pattern until the bead chain reaches the desired length. At the end of weaving, fix the ends of the chain.
Step 4
Another simple pattern for novice craftswomen is “fused flowers”. To weave it, take eight beads and close them into a ring, bringing the needle between the first and second beads inside the ring. After that, put a bead of a contrasting color on the needle, which will become the center of the flower, and thread the needle through the opposite bead to fix the center.
Step 5
For the next flower, cast on six more beads and close the ring again. Visually dividing the circle into two parts, define the opposite bead, put a bead on the thread for the middle of the flower and thread the needle into the opposite part of the ring. Continue to weave one-piece flowers until you achieve the desired length and neat pattern.
Step 6
Also, the pattern of separate flowers will not cause difficulties for you - its weaving resembles weaving of solid flowers, but, unlike the previous method, each new ring must be started completely over again, braiding new beads to the side of an already woven ring. Coming out of the fifth bead, dial the tenth and eleventh beads, then thread the needle into the sixth and fifth beads, and then again into the tenth and eleventh.
Step 7
Another common beading pattern is the cross-shaped chain. To weave it, string four beads on a thread and close the ring through the first bead. Thread the needle through the second and third beads.
Step 8
Then dial three more beads - the fifth, sixth and seventh, and then close them into a ring through the third bead. Continue braiding the chain links until you reach the end. Based on these simple patterns, you can train the technique for more complex products.
