- "Sherlock" - British version of the popular story, invented by the genius writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. As it is already clear, our smart guy is an inimitable detective of all times and peoples - Mr. Holmes, who, according to the scriptwriters' idea, settled in modern London on the invariable Baker Street. A biochemist, violinist, geologist, anatomist, swordsman, boxer and partly a lawyer - these are all our protagonists. But the main advantage is undoubtedly the ability to solve complex puzzles, penetrating into the essence of the most intricate crimes. In a word, fans of Sherlock will be satisfied with the work done, since the producers of the series managed to do the almost impossible - to sculpt an absolutely fresh product from a well-worn old.
- "The Mentalist" is an American TV series performed according to all the rules of the detective genre. For seven seasons, the main character, Patrick Jane, who, in fact, is our wiseacre, is trying to avenge the brutal murder of his daughter and wife. He gets a job at the local Bureau of Investigation, but not in order to administer justice, but in order to have access to closed files on the case of a serial maniac who sent his family to the next world. Patrick, who has a sharp mind and extreme observation from series to series, is slowly but surely approaching the capture of the murderer, who, in turn, is amused by the game with the crushed manipulator. Spectators, especially those who like psychological thrillers, will receive the necessary portion of tension, which will certainly be diluted with shootings, chases and many corpses.
- "Bones" is an American TV series based on detective novels by author Katie Rikes, who became the prototype for the main character, Temperance Brannon. She, in turn, is a brilliant anthropologist who helps the FBI investigate crimes, in most of which only bones remain of human bodies. Our clever girl is able to determine the sex and age of the victim, as well as the possible cause of death, using one phalanx of her finger. What the team of forensic anthropologists is doing is truly wonderful. They carry out all kinds of analyzes, examinations on the latest equipment, experiment, get married and have children. Almost everything is like in real life. The series is worth watching for those who love high-quality cinema and are not afraid of the sight of blood and fragments of a decaying body.
- "Lie to Me" is an American TV series with an Englishman in the lead role, the prototype of which was the famous professor of psychology Paul Ekman, who wrote more than one scientific work in the field of the theory of lies and deception. Dr. Cal Lightman, our smart guy, leads a team of experts who help the government investigate complex and controversial cases, as well as determine whether someone is lying or telling the truth. The idea of the series is very relevant, because many people, when communicating, have a completely normal desire - to know what the interlocutor really thinks. And thanks to the beautifully executed film, we learn the secrets of human behavior that reveal lies, and to which the professor of science has devoted almost his entire life. Must watch for everyone. The show is worth it.
- "True Detective" (season 1) is an American drama in which the two main characters investigate a series of murders associated with sacrifices. One of the partners, Rustin Cole, is brilliant, and the other, Martin Hart, just does a good job of detective. The duet of men was excellent, as the confrontation of different temperaments and points of view always attracts attention. Cole's deep thoughts about the meaning of life load the plot a little, but, nevertheless, they are quite interesting and excellently presented to the viewer. The tense atmosphere mixed with purely American permissiveness makes you watch the whole season in one breath. Anyone who prefers masculine motives, I advise you to take a look.
