Clever plasticine or in another way Handgum is an unusual rubber toy that can take any shape and can change its state. It can be solid or liquid and can be easily torn or broken and then re-glued. Unlike ordinary plasticine, Handgam does not stain wallpaper, clothes and hands. This toy can be purchased at the store or made at home.
It is necessary
- - capacity;
- - sodium tetraborate;
- - glue pva-m;
- - gouache or food coloring;
- - plastic bag;
- - wooden stick.
Instructions
Step 1
Squeeze one tube of glue into a small, clean container and combine it with any dye, such as gouache. Mix everything thoroughly with a wooden stick. For a richer color, add a little more color and stir again. As a result, you should end up with a homogeneous mixture of your chosen color.
Step 2
Add one teaspoon of sodium tetraborate to the resulting mass, you can buy it at almost any pharmacy (if necessary, add two or three tablespoons), and start stirring until the substance thickens.
Step 3
Carefully transfer the made plasticine into a plastic bag and knead to make it soft and elastic. Carefully remove the homemade handgum from the bag, roll a ball out of it and you can present it to your child.
Step 4
There is another way to make smart plasticine. Mix pure alcohol with silicate glue in a 1: 1 ratio. Please note that the glue should be just silicate clerical, and not any other. Beat the mixture until it has a viscous consistency, similar to thick wallpaper glue. Take the resulting mass in your hands and rinse gently under running cold water, after which the plasticine is ready for use.
