But an occupation of this kind caused internal resistance and rejection. As a natural man, he gave up his dance career and remembered his hobbies for music.
In August 1998, on the eve of the infamous default, two young men, a composer and a producer, created a pop group "Hi-Fi". Literally a day after the fateful decision, Timofey Pronkin joined them. It is interesting to note that he has never done vocals professionally before. But this was one of the "tricks" of the new team. The unconventional approach paid off. The next year the guys received the first prize of the Golden Gramophone competition.
