Oral stories, invented by parents for their children, can never be compared with purchased books. Stories from relatives will surely be remembered and become the most beloved. When the child grows up a little, you can please him, and yourself, with drawn exciting stories - comics.
Instructions
Step 1
Come up with a theme for your comic. This will be a "pivot" around which it will be easier to build the whole story. The degree of seriousness and relevance of the topic depends only on your interests. Formulate it in one or two sentences and write it down.
Step 2
Formulate a rough idea that you want to implement in the comic. It will probably change somewhat as you work on the story, but its initial version will facilitate and streamline the process. The author's idea will be expressed through one of the heroes of the comics or in subtext.
Step 3
Create images of the main and secondary characters. For each of them, come up with a detailed, logical biography. Even if it will not be directly reflected in the comic, knowing the life story of each of the characters will help you make the comic logically constructed, and therefore convincing.
Step 4
Start working on the plot of the comic book itself. First, write it down as a whole story. Create an exposure (that is, the conditions and circumstances under which the story begins), the plot of the action, describe in detail the development of the plot. Pay attention to the culmination - the highest point of development of the conflict, and then the denouement. You can choose the option of the open ending, which is very typical for comics - after all, this way the author leaves the possibility of publishing the next "numbers" with the continuation of the story.
Step 5
Shape the story into a comic strip. Select the key points of the text and determine in what form each of them will be presented - as an author's remark, a replica of a hero, or just a drawing without text.
Step 6
Draw a comic strip. Storyboard it by drawing a scene for each of the key points. Alternate large, medium and general shots in the pictures to give the comics liveliness and dynamism. Having decided on the approximate composition of the drawings, develop the external image of all the characters involved, then choose the style in which the comic will be drawn, as well as the color scheme. Choose options for the location of the text in the "frames", color and font style. After that, make the final drawings for your comic, taking into account all the developments.
