Cissus will adapt to living indoors, where direct sunlight will be inaccessible to him. It even withstands full shade, although the plant's growth will slow down somewhat. This plant is ideal for unheated rooms, rooms or corridors with moderate temperatures and good ventilation.
As the temperature rises or the central heating turns on, it needs spraying.
Brown spots on the leaves and dropping off indicate that there is too much sunlight.
Step 2
The soil should be kept moist during the growing period. But you need to let the compost dry out between waterings. Even if you accidentally dry out the plant, it will come back to life. If the cissus is "filled", then root rot will be provided. If the temperature is too low, cissus leaves wither, the reason for the loss of leaves is the "love" of watering.
Step 3
In summer, cissus is fed every two weeks. In winter - several times. For top dressing, liquid fertilizers for deciduous plants are used, for example, uniflor growth. If the plant is undernourished, then it will grow slowly, losing the sheen of the leaves.

In a dry and stuffy room, a spider mite can attack cissus. It will be immediately noticeable by deformed and yellowed leaves. In rare cases, the plant infects aphids and mealybugs.

As it "grows out of the pot", the cissus is transplanted. In large specimens, it is enough to replace the topsoil to a depth of 5-8 cm. With proper care, cissus will become a long-liver in the house.
