Fans of the Provence style can be advised to decorate their interior with the help of such an unusual lampshade - for a chandelier, floor lamp or table lamp.
Do you like vintage things, or maybe you just don't know how to use the numerous knitted napkins presented to you by your friend who loves knitting? Here is a very simple way to make the simplest lampshade much more original, and each lampshade will be absolutely unique!
The first way
This method is suitable when the fabric of the lampshade is damaged and needs to be replaced.
For the craft, you will need openwork napkins of any shape and arbitrary colors, threads, a base for a lampshade (a wire frame removed from a floor lamp, chandelier, table lamp), narrow dense braid, glue.
Work process:
1. Assemble a solid rectangular cloth of suitable size, fastening the napkins together with threads in a color.
Helpful Hint: If you don't have a lot of napkins, fill in the empty spaces in your composition with pieces of lace fabric, organza.
2. On the upper edge of the wire lampshade, glue or sew a narrow tape in a color and secure the resulting lace fabric to it.
3. Clip the finished lampshade onto the lamp.
Second way
This method is recommended if you need to mask minor damage to the fabric of the lampshade or just decorate it.
In such a situation, simply sew napkins on the fabric of the lampshade with inconspicuous stitches in random order. Of course, you can also use not only napkins, but also pieces of guipure, strips of finished lace or sewing.
Use minimum wattage LED bulbs with a napkin lampshade to avoid fire.
