Your child will certainly be delighted with such a cute magic wand, and for adult friends it will become a funny souvenir.
It is necessary
- - multi-colored felt (yellow felt was used in the photo, but felt of another bright color will do),
- - threads in the color of felt,
- - wooden stick,
- - sequins or rhinestones (preferably sewn on, not glue),
- - gold or silver paint,
- - stuffing material (cotton wool, holofiber or the like).
Instructions
Step 1
Paint the wooden stick with gold or silver paint.
Step 2
Make a five-pointed star pattern from thick paper or cardboard. Choose the size of the star depending on your own taste and the size of the wooden stick.
Step 3
Cut out two blanks of stars from colored felt according to the resulting pattern. Embroider them with sequins or sewn on rhinestones.
Step 4
Having stepped back from the edge of 2-5 mm, sew two felt stars, but not completely - leave 2-4 cm unstitched in order to fill a star and glue a stick into it.
Note! If you want to make an addition to the magic wand in the form of a note with the most secret spell or just a wish, cut out not two, but three parts for sewing stars. The third should represent the bottom of the star (see attached photo). It will also need to be embroidered with sequins and sewn to the outside of the felt star to serve as a kind of pocket.
Step 5
Fill in an asterisk, put a wooden stick in it (so that it holds well, it must be greased with glue). After that, finally sew the edge of the star.
The magic wand is ready!
