Beads are traditionally used to create baubles and funny brooches. However, the shape and rich color palette of this material make it possible to weave more "serious" jewelry out of it, which will suit even an evening dress. Such jewelry includes beaded necklaces.

It is necessary

  • - Beads;
  • - fishing line;
  • - locks for jewelry.

Instructions

Step 1

You can weave the necklace both on a fishing line and on a thin wire. Its length depends on the girth of the neck, but in any case, in the process of work, you will have to add segments, because a thread that is too long will constantly get tangled. To add a new piece of working thread, simply tie it in a knot to one of the beads in the previous rows.

Step 2

Take beads and several large beads of any color for weaving. Before you start lowering, attach a clasp for jewelry to the end of the wire or fishing line. After that, string on the other end of the thread successively two large beads, six small, one large and twelve small ones.

Step 3

Pass the end of the line back to the nearest large bead. String seven beads and pass the thread through the second (counting from the lock) bead.

Step 4

The next row of the necklace will consist of four beads, one bead and three more small elements. Having typed them, thread the thread into the fourth bead of the previous row (it is located between two large ones).

Step 5

After that, you need to put three beads on the fishing line, one bead and four more beads. Count the fifth bead from the bottom bead in the previous row, thread the end of the fishing line into it. Cast on 4 more beads, 1 bead, 3 beads. Pass the thread through the bead you just picked.

Step 6

Finishing the necklace fragment, take 9 beads, thread the line into the lower large bead in the previous row, then 7 beads - and again into the large bead (upper).

Step 7

You now have a part of the necklace, consisting of rhombuses. Continuing to weave according to the described pattern, collect a sufficient length of the decoration. Then, at the free end of the fishing line or wire, secure the second piece of the jewelry lock.

Step 8

Using several types of beads, you can create various patterns on your jewelry. Draw a diagram of it on a piece of paper in a box and paint over each of its parts with different colors. Follow this clue as you weave your multi-colored necklace.
