It is better to preserve and use what has already been produced with the use of renewable and irreplaceable natural resources. One of the simplest examples to follow is the use of old clothes in home improvement. A lot can be created from it, and these things will be not only functional, but also attractive in appearance.
To knit such a small basket, you will need some old T-shirts and a crochet hook. Take your old T-shirts and cut them in a spiral to create not very thick threads. Roll them up into balls. But before cutting all the available T-shirts, try knitting from the first T-shirt you cut to determine how comfortable the resulting thread is (you may need to cut it lengthwise or further cut thicker threads).
Helpful advice: already at the stage of preparing the "threads", you can select them by color. By the way, in order to connect the threads together, it is enough to sew their edges with a pair of stitches with threads in color.

It is done in an elementary way - we just start tying the resulting rectangle, moving along its perimeter without adding. Helpful hint: such a basket can be adapted for a cosmetic bag, especially if you knit a rectangle-lid and sew a zipper, you can also knit a larger basket for dirty laundry in the bathroom.
