Have you ever thought about the fact that you are using the shelving unit a little irrationally? It often happens that it is completely packed, but there is still a lot of space between the shelves. So that this place is not empty, but useful, you need to make small jars for storing little things, in which, for example, a home craftsman can store nails and screws, and a needlewoman - buttons, knitting needles, and so on.
It is necessary
- - a transparent plastic jar with a screw cap - 1 piece;
- - metal bottle caps - 3 pcs;
- - self-tapping screws 2 cm long - 3 pcs;
- - screwdriver;
- - nails;
- - a hammer.
Instructions
Step 1
Take a hammer and hammer a nail into the center of the metal caps with it. Thus, in each such cover a hole is formed through which self-tapping screws will pass in the future.
Step 2
Remove the shelf on which you want to attach the jar for storing small items. Next, make marks on it for attaching this craft. Place a plastic can lid on the underside of the shelf where the markings are. Then install the metal covers on it and screw the self-tapping screws through them with a screwdriver.
Step 3
If you decide to make several such structures, then do the same steps as with the first, and then install the shelf in place. It remains to put what they were intended for in transparent jars and screw them up. Jars for small things are ready! Now the rack is used rationally. By the way, transparent jars can even be decorated, for example, painted with stained glass paints.
