Since ancient times, cats have been accompanying a person, living next to him. These animals very easily adapt to changes in the environment, have excellent eyesight and keen hearing. To this day, the cat is considered the best helper in the fight against rodents. Even in urban conditions in the absence of mice, the cat retains the features of a real predator and an unsurpassed hunter.

It is necessary

  • - paper;
  • - pencil;
  • - eraser.

Instructions

Step 1

Make a sketch. Draw two circles, one for the torso and the other for the smaller head. At the bottom of the small circle, draw a small oval, slightly flattened at the top. This element will help shape the muzzle.

Step 2

Draw a vertical line in the middle of the head that will allow you to position the symmetrical details correctly. At the top of the muzzle circle, draw a small inverted nose triangle. Draw two straight lines up from the corners of the nose, at an angle of about 30 degrees from the vertical line.

Step 3

Then, at an angle of 30 degrees relative to the resulting lines, draw two more rays up. Form the ears where they intersect with the head circumference. Divide the distance from nose to crown into three sections. In the middle lobe, draw two circles or ovals to form the eyes.

Step 4

Correct the lines of the nose, making them softer. Draw the mouth as an inverted Y. The nose and eyes should form a V-shaped tick together. Round the skull between the ears. Drawing eyes that have a spherical shape, mark them at the same points of glare.

Step 5

To add volume to the ears, add shadows at their tips. Draw the mustache last. Put dots at their roots. Shade the muzzle with the mustache on the sides and bottom so that it visually protrudes forward.

Step 6

Make the spine of the cat flexible and long. Since the tail is an extension of it, draw the back and tail in one solid line, without interruption. Mark the belly with a straight line. Connect the legs to the body above the level of the abdomen.

Step 7

To add volume to the body of the cat, shade the parts that are not exposed to direct light. Draw in the eyes, adding dark touches in the upper lobe. Paint the pupils with black. Draw the fur. To make it more fluffy, combine several strokes into groups. Draw short strokes on individual hairs for a realistic effect.
