Nowadays, many people make soap at home. Sometimes beautiful creations are made that are loved by all family members. Soap, which is made by hand, has a beneficial effect not only for adults, but also for children's skin, since all the components are chosen by you. Instructions for making baby cosmetic soap are given in this article.
Instructions
Step 1
To make baby soap at home, you first need to prepare all the necessary utensils and ingredients. On a fine grater, rub a piece of baby soap - it does not contain dyes or other artificial ingredients that are harmful to baby's skin. This will be the basis of our product.
Step 2
Next, you should prepare a comfortable and deep enough dish with a handle, you need to mix all the ingredients in it. Warm up one tablespoon of oil (it can be olive, sunflower, lanolin or petroleum jelly, the main thing is that it does not cause allergies) in a water bath. After a couple of minutes, when the oil warms up well, you need to pour the grated shavings of soap into it.
Step 3
Mix everything thoroughly, and then add about 150 grams of hot water or herbal decoction, for example, from calendula or chamomile, etc. If there is, for example, Japanese green tea powder, then it will not be superfluous to add it.
Step 4
To make the soap exclusive, fragrant and have a beneficial effect for baby's skin, you can grind oatmeal and pour them into the resulting mass. Honey and a few drops of essential oil will also improve the properties of the soap. But do not get carried away, as this can cause an allergic reaction and rashes.
Step 5
All of these ingredients should be mixed well. The consistency should be about the same as the pancake dough, it is important that it is uniform and does not contain lumps.
Step 6
When the mass is ready, it must be removed from the heat and poured into prepared molds. The molds can have both the usual - oval or square - and the shape of stars or hearts, which will be even better and will delight the child. The most suitable option are sandbox molds, which just look like toys and are made of plastic. You should not choose glass or porcelain containers, such as saucers, since it will be inconvenient to get the prepared soap out of them when it is ready.
Step 7
After the hot soap is poured into the molds, let it cool slightly before placing it in the freezer to harden. After 2-3 days, the product will be ready for use.
Step 8
To prevent the soap from slipping out of your hands, you can put a ribbon or string into it with a loop on the edge of the container. Then it will not get lost in the bathroom, and it can be hung on a hook after bathing the baby.
Step 9
When you learn how to make soap at home well, you can experiment with different colors, types, filling. For example, a mint leaf or a small flower inside a soap looks very good. By the way, many hostesses make a hobby out of this - they create soap of an exclusive shape and an unusual look with their own hands to give or sell it.
