Starting to photograph moving objects, depending on the situation, photographers set themselves different goals. Someone wants to capture the subject in a clear image, someone, on the contrary, seeks to blur the picture.
Instructions
Step 1
Blur the subject, keep the background in focus.
Such a picture is taken at a low shutter speed. The camera needs to remain stationary. Better to use a tripod. This technique allows you to emphasize the high speed of a moving object, or, conversely, without drawing attention to unnecessary details, accentuate it on the subject.
Also, this method is used for shooting a night road. Cars with their headlights on and moving at high speed are photographed.
Step 2
Blur the background, focus on a moving object.
Such a picture is taken, again, at a low shutter speed, but wiring is used - the camera moves in the same direction as the subject. The speed of the subject will again be emphasized.
Step 3
Chronography.
With the help of a tripod and subsequent processing of photos, you can get an interesting option - chronography. The subject is locked using the continuous shooting function, and then the pictures are combined.
Step 4
"Frozen photography".
In order for all objects in the frame to "freeze", the shutter speed must be set to 1/1000 of a second. This technique produces wonderful photographs. A photo that captures several moving objects can be especially cool. For example, a flying bird against the background of a waterfall.
