Step 1
Prepare whatever you may need in the process of making your invitation. Free yourself up a lot of creativity.
Step 2
Get to work if you have enough time. You need to do creative projects when you have a special mood. Otherwise, the work will not go well, the invitations will not turn out the way you imagined them. And you definitely will not get pleasure from such a process.
Step 3
Select the size of the invitation card. Make a template out of thick cardboard, a cardboard box is ideal.

Place the template on double-sided cardboard and trace carefully with a simple pencil. Make the required number of blanks, plus a few more pieces in reserve.

Cut out the cardboard very carefully using a ruler and a paper cutter. Preliminary preparation is completed, now you can start creating. To draw a postcard, it is not at all necessary to have the talent of an artist, it is enough to just give your imagination room.
Step 6
Draw an image on a piece of thick paper (for wedding invitations, this could be a pair of pigeons). Cut out the picture along the outline.
Step 7
Apply this stencil to colored cardboard blanks and carefully paint over with gouache or acrylic paints using a brush or sponge. Trace the drawing along the contour with a felt-tip pen or pencil, draw individual details with a thin brush.
Step 8
If you need to draw invitations for a children's party, use the help of a child. Densely smear the baby's palms with paint, and have the baby make prints on the card. You just have to sign the invitation.
Step 9
To give the card more personality, glue lace, beads, rhinestones. Complete the image with embroidery. This invitation card will not leave anyone indifferent.
