If you like the idea of decorating doors in the English style, check out this simple craft - a wreath with a felt figurine. It is very easy to make and looks extremely elegant.

Despite the fact that it will take a lot of time to make this wreath, the process is simple and accessible even for creativity with children.

thin felt (black, white, yellow, green), multi-colored fabric, pieces of lace, beads, braid, bell, foam blank for a wreath, glue, some stuffing material, two black beads or small beads, white plastic beads.

1. Wrap the base for the wreath with a wide red braid (instead of braid, you can take a strip of red chintz or other suitable fabric). Complete the decor with stripes of lace on the sides.

2. Cut a few poinsettia leaves out of green felt according to the diagram below.

Note! Adjust the size of the leaves depending on the size of the base. The same applies to their number.

Attach the green leaves at the bottom of the wreath, sew a few white beads onto them.

3. Sew a penguin figurine out of black, yellow and white felt. To do this, cut out two parts indicated with the letter C in the diagram below, and two parts (B) from black felt, one part (D) from white, two parts (A) and one (E) from yellow.

Sew the yellow penguin nose (D) onto the white piece (D), then sew the piece (D) onto the front of the body (C). Sew the front and back of the torso (two pieces (B)) with some padding in between. Use a pair of discreet stitches to secure the wings (B) and feet (A) in place. Decorate the penguin with a bow or scarf, headphones (it's just two pom-poms and a piece of wire), if you like. Sew two black beads instead of a peephole.

4. Glue the finished penguin over the poinsettia leaves.

5. Pull a piece of ribbon or braid through the wreath and tie with a loose bow. Sew a small bell to the bottom of the hanger.
