Sunflowers made of satin ribbons can be wonderful elements in interior decoration. They can be used to decorate pillows, curtains, as well as create paintings and panels with them. Sunflowers using the kanzashi technique look incredibly beautiful in the design of hairpins, headbands and elastic bands.
It is necessary
- - cardboard;
- - black, yellow and green satin ribbons (their width is at your discretion);
- - scissors;
- - tweezers;
- - candle or lighter;
- - glue.
Instructions
Step 1
On a thick piece of cardboard, draw a circle with a diameter of the desired sunflower core. Cut the resulting shape. If you want to create a medium-sized sunflower, then make the middle of the flower 10-12 centimeters, you can use a regular disk or saucer as a template.
Step 2
Next, start creating the "seeds" of the sunflower. Cut 40 squares from a black satin ribbon.
Step 3
Take one square and fold it in half so that you get an isosceles triangle, then fold the workpiece in half again, take it with tweezers and gently singe the edge with slices, let the singed edge cool for two or three seconds and press it with your fingers so that all its layers stuck together.
Step 4
In exactly the same way as described above, make the remaining 39 "seeds" for the future sunflower.
Step 5
Take a yellow satin ribbon, cut 60 squares out of it and make "petals" for the sunflower for the first circle. The principle of consciousness of these petals is similar to the principle of making seeds.
Step 6
Take a yellow tape three centimeters wide and cut 22 rectangles four centimeters long from it. Place one square face up in front of you, then fold it in half lengthwise and cut one edge of it obliquely at an angle of 45 degrees. Singe this cut and glue.
Step 7
Unscrew the resulting workpiece, put it in front of you with the front side up at an angle away from you, then bend its side edges to the front side and glue it.
Step 8
Use the same principle to make 21 more petals.
Step 9
Place a cardboard circle in front of you and glue it with "seeds" made of black tape. Try to glue them as tightly as possible to each other so that the cardboard does not show through.
Step 10
Next, glue small petals in a circle to the resulting workpiece. All 60 pieces should fit.
Step 11
Next, also glue larger petals in a circle.
Step 12
From the green satin ribbon, cut 15 rectangles four centimeters long and make leaves out of them in the same way as the large petals. Glue them to the sunflower, placing them at the same distance from each other.
